Booking Conditions
Where payment or a deposit is due in advance, this will be advised and itemised at the time of booking. Where full prepayments are made online, a 2% administration charge will be made, and where a credit card is used, a 3% credit card fee. This credit card fee will not apply to payments made with debit cards.
You are strongly recommended to take out personal travel insurance at the time of booking.
Cancellations
Once a booking has been made by entering your credit card details, you are subject to our cancellation policy. Where deposits or pre-payments are taken, these will be refunded on cancellation, less a £20 GBP cancellation fee. Where deposits are taken, these are subject to our cancellation policy.
Cancellation policies specify a period before check-in when cancellations will be subject to payment of a penalty. This period does not include the day of arrival. Thus a 24-hour cancellation policy means that a booking must be cancelled at least 24 hours before midnight of the day before your arrival date.
'On Request' Bookings
Where room availability is shown 'on request', such availability is offered on a provisional basis. Rooms cannot be held pending your acceptance of an offer, and availability can change rapidly. Hotels moreover reserve the right to amend or reject bookings, or to change their booking conditions. To avoid disappointment, offers should be accepted as soon as possible if you wish to make a firm booking. The Saxon House will email you within 24 hours to confirm your booking status.
If your check-in date is within seven days of making a request booking, you are advised to contact us direct to confirm - especially if you plan to make travel arrangements based around your request booking.
The Saxon House Extras
The Saxon House offer you special extras to help make your stay memorable - such as a bottle of champagne, welcome drinks or chocolates. Some offers - for example a room upgrade - are subject to availability on arrival.
The Saxon House cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage, disappointment, inconvenience or injury as a result of our failure to honour the Extras shown.
