Very nice place to stay, polite and helpful staff, they make you feel very welcome. About a 15 min walk into the main city with a few pubs and places to eat on the way. The room and breakfast were very pleasant.

We came to York for the Races, great central location, very easy to get to the racecourse. The accommodation and breakfast were very nice, the headache tablets provided the next morning were very much appreciated!!!

The hotel was very easy to find with the aid of a printable map. The Proprieter was very friendly and helpful on how to get to the part of the city we wanted to visit. The room was very nice and the food tasty and hot. Overall this helped make our visit to York an enjoyable one! Well done!
